Wedding card, which is the invitation for the marriage ceremony is the most important component of a beautiful wedding. Wedding card has to be very innovative and impressive as this forms the first impression, which goes to the guests or the invitees for the marriage.

v   The cloth or the material chosen for the wedding card should be different, there are many new materials been introduced in the market like velvet, handmade cards with mirror work, paper cards, etc. In many cases the couple name is also seen engraved on a metal plate outside the wedding card.

v   The colour chosen for writing the text should compliment the background colour of the wedding card. In most cases, the text colour is golden or silver keeping the auspiciousness of the occasion.

v   In many cultures, a sweet box or anything sweet is also given as a practise with the invitation.
